On 22nd July, 10 the British High Commission in Bangladesh declared the most expected withdrawal of the suspension on student visa application. And thus Bangladeshi aspiring students, guardians, consulting firms & overall all sectors got relief from a painful tension.
After the suspension on UK student visa applications from Bangladesh, Northern India & Nepal, Bangladeshi consulting firms were more affected. Because of the fact, every year a large number of Bangladeshi prospective students want to go to the UK. When the British Govt imposes restriction on student visa, Bangladeshi consulting firms fall in problem.
During the suspension period many consulting firms were in troubles with pending students. Maximum consulting firms face financial problems. More consulting firms were inactive. When The British High Commission lifted the suspension, consulting firms found light of hope.
To recover the loss of a few months maximum consulting firms are trying to stand back. To make a good position in the market & to recruit new applicants for the running intakes consulting firms are now in the competition. As a part of campaign & to attract the attention of the prospective students, consulting firms advertise in the leading daily newspapers, participate in the education fairs. But, consulting firms are very upset; as students’ response is not so satisfactory.
Mr. Mizanur Rahman, CEO of Xtra Concern Consultancy told, “During the suspension period we faced more problems. We had no business. We were waiting for the lifting on the suspension, because, maximum Bangladeshi students are UK bound. If, When the British Govt imposes restriction on student visa, we feel insecure in our business. After the lift on the suspension, to recover our loss, we are advertising in the daily newspapers, participating in the education fair, but, we do not get response from the prospective students.”
Mr. Mizanur Rahman also told, “Now, there are thousands of pending students for the UK. Maximum of them deposited tuition fees. I think, until the clear of the problem of the pending students, new students will not feel so easier to proceed on for the UK. And therefore, we have to wait up to the next January.”
Studentvisa4u.com has observed that though September & October ‘10 intakes are very closer to the end but many consulting firms have no preparation for this intakes. We hope, very sooner Bangladeshi consulting firms will stand back. And they will play a vital role in the building of the nation.
