Work after studies in the UK
Thousands of international students study in the UK each year. Due to excellent education systems UK degrees are so much valuable in the whole world.
Most Post-Study Work migrants are expected to switch from the Student (or Tier 4) category from within the UK, in which case the Maintenance test will only require the migrant to show they have £800 in funds plus additional funds if there is any dependant with the applicant.
If spouses, unmarried partners, civil partners and children are already in the UK during the applicant's stay as a student, they can switch along with the applicant and remain in the UK. Entry clearance would be required if the dependants are applying from overseas.
